Sneak Peek of Theatre Raleigh’s New Space

For years, Theatre Raleigh has presented its summer season at The Kennedy Theatre at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Starting next spring though, theatergoers will experience Theatre Raleigh’s season in its new home in North Raleigh.

Producing Artistic Director Lauren Kennedy Brady announced the move earlier this month. Brady says the 18-thousand square foot space in North Raleigh will offer Theatre Raleigh an enormous amount of flexibility, independence and the ability to host other organizations alongside their own programming at this new theatre venue.

Hear what Brady has to say to RDU on Stage about the evolution of Theatre Raleigh as a company, the company’s upcoming concert events, and its new home.
