My Name is Asher Lev

February 16, 2023 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

MY NAME IS ASHER LEV is an adaptation by Aaron Posner of the novel by Chaim Potok. It follows the journey of a young Jewish painter torn between his Hasidic upbringing and his desperate need to fulfill his artistic promise. It’s a powerful show that explores each of our drives to discover and develop who we are in relation to (and sometimes in spite of) the social, familial, and religious structures that form our identities.
Don’t miss this play about creativity, community, and calling as we explore the painful choices we must make in order to grow and ask the question: Is the hurt worth it?
