Michelle Bradley is the Interim Assistant General Manager of the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Hear what she has to say about the impact COVID-19 is having on Downtown Events scheduled to happen at Meymandi, Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, Fletcher, and even, the Kennedy Theatre.
With over 20 years of industry experience, there are few aspects of the Live Events business that Michelle has not touched. From her days as an Event Manager facilitating the Boat and Home Shows at the “old” Raleigh Convention Center to acting as the Director of Marketing at the Duke Energy Center, she has been able to use her creativity and design background to assist a wide range of departments within the City of Raleigh. Currently, is the Theatre Manager at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts where she oversees multiple departments from marketing to front of house. While she creates and negotiates vendor contracts and prepares the operating budget, she is still able to use her creative background while working with the booking department to find new ways to maximize revenues and attract new events to the venue.
Hear what Bradley has to say to RDU on Stage about the effects of a pandemic on the cultural arts community and businesses in Downtown Raleigh.
