Live Chat with Robert Sokol

Robert Sokol has been writing about the arts in San Francisco, the greater Bay Area and beyond since 1997. He served as president of the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle and was the producer of their 2012 awards ceremony at the Palace of Fine Arts. He was also the founding manager and the producer of the inaugural presentation of the TBA Awards at the Geary Theater in 2015. Robert served as the operations manager for ATCA (2017-2018), and on the executive committee as secretary-treasurer (2018-2019). He produced the ATCA-SF17 conference and co-produced ATCA-NY19. Robert and his husband, Ron Willis, own VIA MEDIA, which provides creative services and publishes playbills for over thirty performing arts companies under the BAYSTAGES banner.
