Live Chat with “Baby Shark” Sarah Bock

Sarah Bock is a 13-year-old actress, singer, dancer, voiceover actress, and model based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She caught the acting bug at the age of five in a local production of Winnie the Pooh and she hasn’t stopped since!

Sarah booked her first professional production in the summer of 2019 as Kate in North Carolina Theatre’s “Annie”. She got to work with Tony Award Winner, Karen Ziemba as well as director Eric Woodall, choreographer James Gray, Music Director Eddie Robinson, and many Broadway performers!

Soon after “Annie” ended, Sarah was cast in Triad Stage’s “Dracula”. She got to work with Broadway veterans, and amazing directors and designers. She learned so much because it was her first-ever play. She worked with dialect coaches on British accents, she worked with fake blood, fire, dry ice, and much more. Less than 2 weeks after Dracula’s 2-month long run she was cast in Lythgoe Family Panto’s “A Snow White Christmas” as Allergy the Dwarf. In this show, she got to work with director Bonnie Lythgoe and actors Michelle Williams, Garrett Clayton, Olivia Sanabia, Michael Campion, Jared Gertner, and more! She learned so much from this experience. The day “A Snow White Christmas” ended, Sarah began rehearsals for “Matilda the Musical” at the Paramount Theatre where she played the title role of “Matilda”! She was over the moon about playing her dream role! This was the first time she ever got to do press (photoshoots, radio, commercials, interviews, etc.) for a show and she learned so much. While Sarah was playing Matilda, she was also doing voiceover work with Pinkfong, creators of the viral “Baby Shark” video. Sarah voices Baby Shark, Pinkfong, and many other characters. She has recorded over 40 songs for them and still continues to work for them.
