On this week’s RDU on Stage podcast, we are taking a field trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee. This place, this shrine of music, is so much more than cowboy boots and Cadillacs. It’s a tribute to all the jazz, blues and bluegrass artists, who are interwoven into country music’s origin story. And nestled in the lobby of this incredible building, is another not-to-be-missed hidden gem called Hatch Show Print, a historic letterpress print shop that is as much a part of Americana as country music itself. So why talk about Hatch here on the podcast? Well, it turns out that there’s a thread of southern hospitality that ties this small print shop in the heart of Nashville to our very own Durham Performing Arts Center.
