Summer storms and heat are in the forecast for this weekend. So, it’s the perfect time to stream some of your favorite Triangle theater-makers and emerging artists. Here is a list of our top picks.

Women’s Theatre Festival Best of the Fest: Starting at 10 a.m Saturday, Women’s Theatre Festival will close its annual festival with a Best of the Fest recap. Relive some of WTF’s favorite moments and performances.
She Kills Monsters: Catch the closing performance of Raleigh Little Theatre’s Teens on Stage and production of Qui Nguyen’s She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms. Tickets for the virtual performance are $10. Read Sarah Bock’s RDU on Stage review of the production.
Stars in the House: Theatre Raleigh’s Producing Artistic Director Lauren Kennedy Brady takes over Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley’s award-winning series Stars in the House at 2 p.m. this Sunday. And she is bringing some local favorites with her, including performing artist Yolanda Rabun (Newsies), Kate McMillan (Smokey Joe’s Cafe), Gerard Williams (The Scottsboro Boys). Rudetsky and Wesley launched Stars in the House, in the wake of the pandemic, to support The Actors Fund and its services. A suggested donation of $25 is requested.
Stuck Monologues: PlayMakers Repertory Company called upon some of their favorite writers to create original monologues in the wake of being quarantined during this pandemic. Performed by some company favorites, hear what these 10 playwrights stirred up in this 11-part series.
